Coming this September school holidays - the return of the Fab Nobs Youth Musical Theatre Workshop, taking place at our very own Fab Factory in Bayswater on September 23rd.

We are so excited to welcome young theatre performers to our theatre this holidays, for an amazing one day workshop featuring singing, dancing, acting and the opportunity to perform a mock audition in front of a panel.

We encourage performers of all experience levels aged 8-12 years old to come along. This is the perfect opportunity to learn theatre in a low stress environment, surrounded by other theatre kids, and gain confidence before upcoming auditions!

Attendance is $90 per child, with sibling discounts available.

There is only one more week to submit expressions of interest for our 2027 production of The Hello Girls! If you are interested in being involved in this production please send an expression of interest including a CV to fabnobstheatre@gmail.com. Thank you to those who have already applied!

We are currently seeking expressions of interests for:
* Director
* Musical Director
* Choreographer
* Assistants
* Stage manager
* Costumer designer/coordinator

Individual and group applicants welcome.

At this point we do not expect a full pitch to be sent through but a brief explanation of your interest in the show is encouraged. Directors are also encouraged to include a brief vision for the show in the Fab Nobs space.

Expressions of interest will close August 28th after which interviews will be organised.

We encourage applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience levels to apply. Please be aware that there is a small honorarium available for director, musical director and choreographer roles.

Looking for a fun night out, surrounded by fellow

Looking for a fun night out, surrounded by fellow theatre lovers? Want a chance to show off your pipes? Need to practice that song for a big audition in front of a supportive crowd?

Well, look no further, because the Fab Nobs Theatre Open Mic Night are coming back for 16+ performers after the success of our youth open mic night back in June.

Entry is $15 (no booking necessary, just pay at the door), and doors open from 6:30pm!

Attendees will also get to see a sneak peak of our upcoming show; Jesus Christ Superstar, at 8pm. This cast is absolutely incredible and you need to hear them live.

These nights are always a huge amount of fun and a great opportunity for anyone to get up on stage and have a go at performing in front of a supportive crowd, so make sure to bring your friends! You can also just come along to have a drink and see some fabulous performances, no pressure at all to get up on stage (although you might feel differently after a few drinks!).

A pianist will be provided if you bring along sheet music, plus we will have a collection of digital scores to choose from if you don’t have your own. We can also hook up backing tracks if that’s more your speed.

This incredible group of performers absolutely blew our production team away at auditions and we can’t wait to get started on this beloved show. We know it is going to be absolutely amazing, and tickets will be on sale soon, so watch this space!

After almost 90 auditions our creative team had some very difficult decisions to make, and we are so grateful to everyone who took the time to come along and audition for this production. We hope to see you all back at Fab Nobs soon!

Last week the cast and crew of Matilda Junior played the final of 10 sold out shows at the Fab Factory! With our biggest ever youth cast, and a show full of magic, this was an incredibly complicated show to put together and we are so happy with how it turned out. We are so proud of our incredible youth performers for the wonderful show they put on, and for the amazing bonds they formed among cast members new and old. We hope to have you all back soon!

Thank you to everyone who was a part of this production, from our creative team, to our set builders, our sound and lighting teams, our backstage crew, our committee, and so many more. Shows like this are a true labour of love, and we are always so blessed to have so many amazing people helping put together shows at our company.
