tick, tick… BOOM! marks the end of an era for Fab Nobs Theatre. As the complex which houses The Fab Factory has been sold and is to be redeveloped, tick, tick… BOOM! will be the last production to be held at The Fab Factory before Fab Nobs Theatre moves to a new home.

Jonathon Sebastian is following up his role as Captain Tempest in the acclaimed Return to the Forbidden Planet as Jon. Hannah Free will be playing Susan, Jon’s girlfriend. Hannah was last seen with Fab Nobs Theatre in last year's Little Shop of Horrors. Michael Butler is Michael, Jon’s childhood friend. Michael joined Jonathon earlier this year as Bosun Arras in Return to the Forbidden Planet.

tick, tick… BOOM! is being brought to you by the same creative team that brought Fab Nobs Theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors in 2006. Andrew Johnson & Erin McMahon are directing with Phil Haeusler musical directing.

The story of tick, tick... BOOM! takes place in and around Jon's apartment. The unique staging of this production has allowed Fab Nobs Theatre to offer an additional type of seating in addition to our usual Table and Tiered Seating. Take advantage of our Apartment Seating that gives you a premium seat to watch tick, tick... BOOM! Although many thought it not possible, it's now possible to get an even closer view at the Fab Factory - definitely one for any Musical Theatre fans!

What does it take to follow your dreams?

tick, tick... BOOM! tells the story of an aspiring composer named Jonathan who lives in New York City in 1990. Jon is worried he has made the wrong career choice to be part of the performing arts.

His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city (tick,), his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue (tick...), yet Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical (BOOM!).

Containing fourteen songs, ten characters, three actors, and a band, tick, tick... BOOM! takes you on the playwright/composer's journey that ultimately led to the Broadway blockbuster, RENT.

Set in 1990, this musical is filled with instantly appealing melodies, and a unique blend of pop, great rock and musical theatre styles.

Everyone, regardless of age, will love this youthful, endearing, and thoughtful look at the courage it takes to follow your dreams, and will surely embrace the universal ideal of holding onto your dreams through life's most difficult challenges.
