The First 5 Years celebrates Fab Nobs Theatre’s fifth anniversary and pays tribute to the ten musicals, four plays and two concerts we have performed since April 2003.
Our fifth anniversary also marks an exciting time for Fab Nobs Theatre as we move into our new home in central Bayswater and prepare for our 2008 season. The move will not be without its challenges and we urge all our members and patrons to come along to The First 5 Years, enjoy a fabulous night out, relive your favourite moments from all our shows and see moments from shows you may have missed and help us raise the funds we require to move and fit out our new venue as quickly as possible.
We have an exciting season lined up for 2008 which will see us return to our usual format of two musicals and a play. We launch our new venue with a 70’s groove in Disco Inferno followed by our mid-year play, The Club, by Australian playwright David Williamson. We will round out 2008 with the zany off-beat musical comedy Zombie Prom.
The First 5 Years is being performed over three nights at the unique performance space The Old Market Theatre at Billanook College in Mooroolbark. And yes, the Fab Nobs bar will be open!
