Anne Dewar is new to Fab Nobs and brings a wealth of creative knowledge and experience. Her talents don't stop with Directing, she also a multi faceted and versatile performer having picked up both Lyrebird and Guild nominations.
Anne has managed to completely recreate The Fab Factory using the entire space to fill her vision. Most recently her directing credits include 'Spamalot' & 'Kids on Broadway', performance wise; she starred in 'The Full Monty' and Nova's very well received 'South Pacific'.
Unfortunately Kurt Abell has had to step down as MD for personal reasons, however we have been lucky enough to secure Phil Osborne to the role of Musical Director. Phil is extremely well known and respected on the Melbourne theatre scene having worked with many companies on a variety of shows. Most recently he received a Music Theatre Guild nomination for his work as MD for Whitehorse Musical Theatre Company's 'Suessical', which also won production of the year in 2008.
Felicity Hill has these young and vibrant actors dancing up a storm. She has recreated the 50's era to a tee and not just with the dancing, her costume designs are superb and add such a great element to the show. For those of you who don't know, Felicity is one of Melbournes most highly regarded and sought after costume designers, and we are thrilled to have her on board.

The transformation of the factory is quite exceptional and the clever and bold vision from Anne has really worked in turning this large scale show to a production that is perfectly suited to our factory.

Our opening night Gala supper is being held following our opening performance on March 12th. To assist with catering requirements, it would help if you have your tickets booked by Wednesday 10th March so we can advise our caterers. Don't forget that all tickets for the March 12th performance include the Gala supper for no additional cost.
It's 1959 and Rydell High is filled with rebellious thrill-loving students. In the midst of this scene, Sandy Dumbrowski enters as the new girl in school. It turns out that she and the leader of the Burger Palace Boys gang, Danny Zuko, have had a brief love affair the summer before.
While Sandy stresses to her new classmates the emotional attachment she and Danny had, Danny stresses the physical aspect of their relationship.
As the show goes on, the students at Rydell High have to deal with love, gang violence, teen pregnancy, and friendship.
The show includes the iconic songs You're The One That I Want, Sandy, Born to Hand Jive, Hopelessly Devoted to You and of course, Summer Nights.
